Renná Bruce — Author

Renná Bruce was born in Rivers, Manitoba and travelled across Canada with her military family during her childhood. She graduated from Ryerson in Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree and she has published in poetry, creative writing, short stories and newspaper reporting. She has also been a copywriter, broadcaster and account manager for radio. Her professional background is in communications, media and marketing management. Robin Oakes — Illustrator

Robin Oakes was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. She began teaching cartooning classes which evolved into a full time teaching job. She pursued various teaching jobs throughout schools, galleries and community centres. When not illustrating, she does murals for various companies and enjoys producing her fine art. Kevin Strang — Illustration, Colouring, and Page Design

Kevin Strang is a freelance graphic designer with over 25 years of experience in the print industry. Kevin and his company have brought the caricatures to life on the pages in the Jazlyn J book series. Along with his design abilities, Kevin has also trained other artists to use the leading software in the graphic design industry. Kevin also works as a colourist for the popular "For Better or For Worse" comic strip. Another contributing artist is Mandy Strang, a recent graduate of the Graphic Design Program at Georgian College. Mandy has worked closely with her father Kevin to develop the colouring style for the series.
